Swan Open Studios is an artist- led initiative that connects members of the public with local artists in the studio context. Artists’ studios are often in their own home or within collaborative working spaces, and provide unique opportunities to see behind-the-scenes. Visitors can visit artists, chat about their methods and materials, and find out what inspires them. Visitors can also purchase work directly from artists, and get to know artists within their neighbourhood and beyond.

Guildford is a modern, vibrant hub set against a heritage background. There’s plenty to do when you visit, including world-class eateries, quirky shops, and our famous antique strip. Several artists will be opening their studios during this event, so why not make a day of it!

Our studio is based in our heritage-listed home, built in 1852 by Lt. Edmund DuCane and forming part of Guildford’s Historic Precinct. This is a fabulous opportunity to see contemporary abstract art created in an important historic setting.
