Australian glassmaker Anne Sorensen has won numerous awards, and was a finalist in the Tom Malone Award in 2019. In the last decade, her practice has foccusedon the production of kiln-formed glass from her Western Australian studio.

Her carved bowls such as this one begin life as three layers of glass; the outer colour, clear, and white, which are fused together and undergo a slow slump firing process. The bowl is then ground, carved, polished and hand-finished after cooling.

This stunning lime green bowl is in excellent condition, and is signed and dated on the base.
