Rainbow Vase by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda c1980s
Designed by the legendary Bertil Vallien for Swedish design house Kosta Boda, the Rainbow range was designed in the 1980s, and features ribbons of bright colours against a white glass background - simple yet striking. Born in 1938, Vallien and Kosta Boda celebrated their 60-year collaboration in 2023.
Model 48224 from the series is this classic round shape, with different colour combinations on each side of the vessel.
This example is signed to the base, with its original assignation sticker, and is in excellent vintage condition.
